You may have heard the story of a bucket of crabs before, also known as crab mentality.
If not, you’re in for a treat as this story is one that I think about often – not just when it comes to working out and eating healthy.
I think of it when it comes to my business, my beliefs, and my lofty goals, but many of our members experience it first hand as they start to see results and success.
Every now and then, we struggle to find the motivation to do anything in life. There are quick bursts of motivation, but it eventually runs out and you begin to fall behind.
When you begin working towards your dreams, no one tells you that motivation is the key to everything. Without at least one of the types of motivation, there will be no fuel to start the fire.
You would have no drive to achieve anything, and there would be no reason to move forward.
If you want to achieve your goals and need some help, learn these about the different motivation types (or motivation styles) that can make it possible to reach your dreams.
The 90/10 Rule is one of the most helpful concepts for life and time management. (The “90” and “10” numbers are not to be taken literally here; instead, they stand in for “the majority of your life” and “the minority of your life,” respectively).
So, ignoring the factors that will have the lion’s share of influence on your life, could end you up less happy with your decision.
